Last Frontier ~ To the sea where dugongs live!

leisurely dugong
Both the resort and the sea are the best healing tours

The dugong is said to be the model for mermaids, and is popular for its cute appearance.
It is precious even in the world where the dugong lives.
Sea
"Last Frontier ~ Last Unexplored Region"It is a tour to the Northern Palawan Islands of the Philippines called.

For me personally, dugongs are almost mythical creatures, and I never thought I'd get the chance to actually meet them! The sea where you can swim with precious dugongs in the world! Please join us!

* Dugong dive (swim) will be operated with 5 or more people according to local regulations.
If you go by yourself, the dugong boat will not run if the number of people does not gather locally.
Please join us for this opportunity!

About the dugong
Body length about 3m/450kg. It is an endangered species.
Currently, about 30 dugongs live in the waters around Busuanga Island, where they stay, and 3 to 4 babies are born each year.
Babies stay with their mothers from 3 to 7 years. It is said to have a lifespan of about 70 years, which is unusually long.

The main area around Busuanga is a feeding ground for dugongs (they eat aquatic plants on the seabed).

In this tour, you will be guided by the "Dugong Dive Center", which continues to research and protect dugongs locally, and will conduct an eco-tour that takes into account the living environment of the dugongs.

The Dugong Dive Center has a thorough knowledge of the dugong's habitat through many years of activities. The encounter rate is quite high at 90%!

(Dugongs are living creatures in the natural world and are always on the move. Please note that we cannot guarantee an encounter, even if it is a high probability.)

About dugong swim (dive)
We look for dugongs while going around several feeding grounds by boat.
Since we don't know when we will find dugongs, it will be a 1-day trip (departing from port in the morning and returning to port in the evening). (3 days)

There are two main types of approaches.
* When you find a dugong from a boat and approach it by snorkeling.
* When searching for dugongs while diving in dugong habitats.
In any case, please watch over the dugong calmly so as not to stress it.

*The dugong trip is scheduled for 2 dives per day x 3 days = 6 dives, but depending on the point, it may switch to normal diving that is not aimed at dugongs.
*6 DIVE is not all scuba. Think of it as half scuba + half snorkeling.
* Snorkeling is observation from the surface of the water. Free diving is prohibited to avoid startling the dugongs.

*During free time, you can freely enjoy snorkeling on the house reef in front of the hotel.
*Additional diving is possible in the house reef. (2,000 pesos)

Participation conditions
Basic is scuba diving, but you can also participate in snorkeling. (Prices are the same)

* If you are worried about diving after a long time, please take a refresher course in advance.

*Please refrain from participating if you are a beginner in both diving and snorkeling.

* This tour is a shop tour (biological observation program) accompanied by a diving shop instructor.
It is possible for the general public to participate, but unlike ordinary individual trips, it will be an action for each shop, so please do not make a mistake.
