Mikurashima, an island where dolphins live,
departs from Takeshiba Pier in Tokyo at night and arrives the next morning.
Mikurashima Island, located 200 km south-southwest of Tokyo between Miyakejima and Hachijojima in the Izu Islands, is home to more than 100 of the world's rare, resident ind pacific bottlenose dolphins that are waiting to play with us.
The dolphins of Mikurashima are very friendly despite being wild, and the excitement of swimming with them is beyond your imagination!
Dive Kids is a pioneer of dolphin swimming that started in 1987, when it was not even known that dolphins existed on Mikurashima. Our staff who know dolphins better than anyone else will accompany you.
First time dolphin swimmers can rest assured! For repeaters, we offer a more fulfilling dolphin swim!
We will coordinate the encounter between you and the dolphins!

Dolphin swimming is closed from November 16th to March 14th.
We have two plans,
Mikurajima stay and Miyakejima stay.
The dolphin swim location is the same around Mikurashima Island.
Mikurajima Stay
Japanese speakers only
Dolphins live around Mikurashima, so the trip is short, and the dolphin boat is small,
so it is easy to swim with them.
However, the Tokai Kisen ferry is often cancelled.(arrival rate is 60%)
S0, we recommend Mikurajima stay plan for foreign travelers.
Accommodation is in shared rooms for other customers.
Miyakejima Island Stay
English speakers are available.
The Tokai Kisen ferry is rarely cancelled.(arrival rate is 90%)
Private rooms are available.
You can also enjoy hot springs, island sightseeing, and snorkeling.
The only drawback is the long travel time from Miyakejima to Mikurashima (about 50 minutes).
